This special exhibition celebrates the written word in visual art. Curated by Claire Hynds, ‘A Word in Your Eye’ brings together work by artists based in Hackney who have sought to explore the creative significance of words within the world of visual communication.

East London's premier poetry and spoken word event, hosted by Baden Prince Junior. Featuring Inspired Word - Janett aka Melted Demerera, Akilah, Sandra, Joy and Sophia - a dynamic group of women wordsmiths who chronicle the joys and trials of life, seeking to reach the parts other survivors fail to reach. Plus readings by participants from Mellow's Creative Connections project.
